2020 is behind us and believe it or not, all signs point to 2021 being a relatively normal baseball season. Current health orders allow practices in stable cohorts even now, and once we progress into the red tier, games will be allowed. After so much frustration and sadness in 2020, we are optimistic and hopeful that baseball season can happen soon.

Spring Registration

DLL registration closes on January 22 to allow us time to prepare for evaluations for upper division teams.  Evaluations will be held on January 30 and 31.  If for some reason we are unable to play regular games, DLL will be offering refunds.  If you feel that your player wants to play baseball this spring please register before the deadline.  

Free Clinics

To assist in knocking off the dust from our gloves and bats, DLL is offering FREE clinics to registered players on January 16th and 23rd. 

We held our first clinic this past Saturday and had over 100 players in attendance.  All County Covid-19 protocols were followed.  Everyone did a fantastic job keeping groups to 14 players or less, wearing masks and maintaining appropriate distancing….and the kids had fun!

We have two more “warm up” clinics scheduled for January 16 and 23.  Any player that wants to participate needs to be registered for the Spring Dublin LL season as well as registered for that clinic by the Wednesday prior to the clinic at midnight.  

Please note that masks are required for all in attendance; sharing of equipment is not allowed. We also ask that no more than one family member stay to observe the practice.  We would like to keep the number of spectators to the absolute minimum.  If you do feel that you need to stay at the field, please maintain appropriate social distancing and please wear a mask.  City officials will be checking throughout the course of the day.

All clinics are 2 hours of basic skills practice, and players will be grouped in stable cohorts by age and skill level. The clinics will be held at the Fallon Softball fields.  Your group information and practice times will be sent to you on Thursday.  Register today to take advantage of these clinics.
