Volunteer Policy

One of the main goals of the Dublin Little League Board is to encourage participation in Little League Baseball, and one of the key ingredients to a successful year in Little League is volunteer support.

To encourage participation at all levels of play, we have provided an updated list of volunteer opportunities. It is our goal to have 100% participation of all parents or guardians.

We have listed the most common areas that each team will need help in managing and organizing their team for the upcoming season.   These are presented in approximate order of time commitment.

Team ParentMain communication link between the league coaches and team families
Field Maintenance / Set UpResponsible for field preparation before games
Score keeperGame support and record keeping (AA and higher)
Game CoordinatorUmpire and game support (AA and higher)
Special Events VolunteerSupport for league events: Tryouts, Opening Day, Picture Day, Snack Shack, etc. (all levels)

A volunteer deposit will be added during registration. Hours and/or team positions will be tracked during the season and volunteer deposits will be returned once 12 hours have been fulfilled.

Volunteer applications must be completed by all board members, managers, coaches, team parents, field marshals, and others that are in contact with players
